Kingspade is a member of the Kottonmouth Kings. Hailing from Orange County, CA, (hed)pe fuse the local sounds of the area punk revival scene with G-funk-inflected hip-hop, a sound the band tagged "G-punk." The group's re-vitalized lineup currently includes vocalist Jared, guitarist Jaxson, bassist Mawk, drummer Devin and DJ Product 1969 (turntables/samples). (hed)pe has been described by Rolling Stone as "the one rare metal act willing to admit that good times actually exist."
