EVENT: 10th Annual Albuquerque Folk Festival

DESCRIPTION: The 10th annual Albuquerque Folk Festival presents a full day of non-stop performances, jam sessions, storytelling and dance, instrument and singing workshops, plus two evening dances, attracting more than 2,000 professional and amateur musicians and dancers and folk music lovers of all ages from around New Mexico and beyond. In 2007, the Festival had more than 120 separate events; including folk arts and crafts. This year’s featured performer is Bryan Bowers, Autoharp Hall of Fame member and storyteller.
TICKETS: $10 in advance; $15 adults, $5 seniors (60+) and children 11-17; Children under 10 free; $10 for evening dances only; $7 FolkMADS members (evening dances only).
